Judgment-debtor requested a writ of mandamus requiring a trial court to vacate post-judgment discovery and deposition. Judgment-debtor “claim[ed] that compelling her compliance with post judgment discovery will endanger her health,” but did not request “an accommodation from the trial court.”
Mandamus did not issue because it “is not available to compel what may be accomplished by supersedeas.” Post your bond or exercise your options at the trial court before you head to the court of appeals.
